two new rug designs for one small step one giant leap at harrods london

detailF was commissioned to create two unique rug designs for the childrens' fashion department at harrods london. the four rugs in two different colour schemes are part of the newly furnished childrens' shoe department and cover more than 60m2 of the floor space. the luxurious rugs incoorperate a diagonal colour gradient and are made out of 100% pure new zealand wool.

'geometry & colour' is a presentation of new objects for the front room. each object is a fresh version of it’s predecessor, and all are united by the ritualistic nature of sheer geometries and strikingly contemporary colour palettes. In a departure from the amorphous forms that have preoccupied the design world in recent years, this up-and-coming group looks to purity with an element of playfulness.
